What You See Is What You Use! Out of sight, out of mind.

You have to decide which features people will use in your interface. Primary and most important features. They should be visible and clear by default. People should not look for them behind the hamburger menus or somewhere hidden inside. Put things where people are looking. If they do not see them, they will not use them.

If it takes time and effort to find a feature, most likely people will be upset by the time they find it. Next time, they will be irritated.
